Flax Crackers

Creates: 60 crackers
Prep Time: 25 m
Dry Time: 18 Hrs

2 c flax (1 c golden & 1 c regular)
2 c water
1 T vegetable seasoning (x2)
1/4 t vegetable salt (x2)
1 c dried cranberries

Grind flax to medium texture, place in bowl, add water and let sit for 15 minutes. Place cranberries in small bowl, cover with water and let soak as well. Place half of flax mixture in second bowl, add seasoning and salt. Drain cranberries. Add to other half of flax mixture, along with second portion of seasoning and salt.

Spread both mixtures onto separate dehydrator sheets to an 11 x 12" size and score into 30 one-inch pieces. Dry crackers for up to 18 hours or until crisp. (Turn crackers over after 9 hours) Store in airtight container for up to 3-4 weeks. Stores well in fridge & freezer as well.

Additions: garlic, cayenne pepper, dried bell peppers, favorite herbs, seasonings, spices, cinnamon, coconut
