1 apple, cored & cut in half
1/4 c pineapple, diced
1/4 c oats
1 t cinnamon (I like a lot)
1/2 c milk of choice ( I like rice, coconut or almond )
In single serve bowl, place pineapple and apple halves. Fill with oats and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Today I enjoyed a simple apple and romaine blend that was frothy, sweet but not too sweet and very fulfilling.
3 gala apples
2 hearts of romaine

Calmyrna or Black Mission. Figs are one of my all time favorite fruits.
Being a raw foodie, I found in my earlier days that dried figs fulfilled my cravings for heartier, denser and sweeter foods. The same satisfaction I would get from a sweet cake or dessert after a nice meal. With figs I would still feel good after eating without any adverse effects, or guilt for that matter!

Personally, I love to start with a basic grain - in this instance puffed rice - and build a bowl full of masterpiece.
Quinoa, millet, oats and kamut are additional favorites.
And milks - who knew coconut milk was so darling paired with most everything, particularly a hearty millet.

Made of pressed coconut, it contains all of the oil and the flesh and is amazing on everything from fruit to nuts.
If you love coconut butter, rest assured you will love coconut manna.
Found at natural and organic markets, manna is a great way to enjoy coconut in its pure form, a little easier than prying coconut flesh out of its shell.

Paul, Where DO you get your protein?
This is definitely the question that vegans hear most often. But when was the last time you heard of anyone being protein deficient in the western world?Corinnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10346042090437981097noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10757871.post-21042987563440678472012-07-27T07:03:00.000-06:002012-07-29T22:25:38.919-06:00Garden Fresh KaleOne of the great things about keeping a garden is rolling out any time of the day - like the crack of dawn with the sun peeking out over the horizon - and enjoying the fruits of your labor.

Like a "pablum" or "formula" yet heartier and more nutritionally sound. That is, less processed and provides quality nourishment for the proper development of mind, body, spirit and soul.
So, with two easy ingredients, here goes:
Vegan Children's Pablum

Here is his latest read on how restaurant owners can cater to vegans.
As a side note - I personally believe these restaurants open up to a greater market. And as Paul speaks to, non vegans like to eat vegan too.
