Knowing

I remember hearing a phrase throughout my childhood and into college that stated "nobody really knows what they want". This haunted me for years as it made me question my own existence. If we truly do not know what we want, what the heck is everyone busy doing?

I realize now that this saying is for those without love, true love, in their hearts. For without it, we continually search for that perfect something - trying to find what it is we want when really the search is out of lack of what is "missing". When a heart opens and love awakens, life can be lived in the present moment. And that which once was being searched for, finds its way in.

There is no more seeking to know. All that is needed is already there, just waiting to be accepted.
