raw tip of the week

this is a beautifully easy and versatile mixture to be enjoyed as a delicate treat for those gourmet potlucks or wonderful evening dinners.

Decadent Raw Nut Pate
gently grind raw organic walnuts to a medium-fine texture. allow for some varience in texture as this makes for a nice finishing dish. add a sprinkling of nama shoyu (Japanese Soy Sauce) or Liquid Bragg's to taste.

Note: shoyu packs quite a sodium punch so perhaps start slowly. It is a divine liquid for a heavier, grounding dish. Bragg's tends to be on the lighter side and carries a lot less sodium.

voila! you have just created a gourmet nut pate ready to be served atop flax crackers or wrapped in nori rolls or on your favorite green leaf. take this recipe further by adding your favorite spice.... garlic, cumin, ginger, cinnamon..... be creative and enjoy the process. most of all, begin preparation with the greatest of intentions for your food. the beautiful energy flowing into the recipe also flows into your body and becomes a part of you. allow that spirit to be the absolute best.
